Overview:

Manage customer ambassador initiative, in-store events and digital partnerships between Classic Six and like-minded brands, influencers and editorial outlets.

Responsibilities:

Brand partnerships

  • Research, vet and oversee partnerships with like-minded brands and products
  • Secure the acquisition of a minimum # of brand partnerships per calendar year while fostering enduring relationships with other potential brand partners
  • Negotiate competitive contract terms and product offerings to fortify the overall growth strategy
  • Discover emerging accessories brands and trending products for potential inclusion in upcoming campaigns

Influencer Partnerships

  • Build a roster of external creators including influencers, agencies and publishers
  • Manage product seeding
  • Pitch and secure a minimum # of revenue-generating influencer partnerships per calendar year
  • Manage strategies to build content around relevant trends
  • Track affiliate links and analytics
  • Traffic content creation
  • Support key influencer negotiations and review/execute Influencer/creator contracts in order to drive most effective results for both influencer and Classic Six 
  • Review and analyze effectiveness of paid partnership and gifting strategy performance against objectives and provides weekly guidance and analysis

Editorial Partnerships 

  • Maintain daily contact and develop strong relationships with media outlets
  • Stay up to date on industry trends through websites, newspapers, magazines, blogs, daily/weekly newsletters, and digital content to find new angles, editors and writers 
  • Format, develop, write and successfully pitch press materials including bios, backgrounders, fact sheets
  • Understand editorial calendars, identify relevant opportunities and schedule pitches accordingly
  • Manage, review, edit and track all press materials, media lists, pitches, reports, etc
  • Secure a minimum # of revenue-generating press per calendar year

Event Coordination

  • Coordinate activities related to planning, scheduling and executing a minimum # of intimate in-store luncheon events/trunk shows per calendar year
  • Research, identify, and negotiate terms with outside vendors, contractors, and suppliers
  • Coordinate all on-site event-day logistics including load in, set up and breakdown to make sure all run smoothly
  • Source related collateral and materials for events
  • Serve as the primary liaison with outside vendors retained to assist in event planning, including consultants, caterers, collaborators, etc
  • Monitor the performance of these vendors and assist in negotiating favorable contract terms

Customer Ambassador Initiative

  • Build out Customer Ambassador program
  • Recruit loyal customers to promote Classic Six as representatives
  • Provide tools and guidance needed to promote brand
  • Track and monitor online and offline marketing efforts via affiliate links and other incentives

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Marketing and/or Public Relations. Fashion experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative, but process-driven
  • Organized and methodological
  • Ability to multitask
  • Passionate about working for a fashion business in growth phase
  • Strong decision making skills and problem-solving aptitude

 

Hours: Full-time (40 hours a week) Flexible 8 hour day

Location: Remote/ New York preferred, but not required

Salary: Based on experience, skills, education  Eligibility for equity shares
